A cooperation protocol was signed between Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language and History and Ankara University.

A cooperation protocol was signed between Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language and History and Ankara University to improve academic cooperation and realize joint projects and activities.

Speaking at the protocol signing ceremony held at the Atatürk Supreme Council Meeting Hall, the President of Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language and History, Prof. Dr. Yüksel ÖZGEN, stated that this protocol is essential in order to carry academic cooperation with Ankara University to a higher level.

President of the Turkish Language Association, Prof. Dr. Osman MERT, President of the Atatürk Culture Center, Dr.Zeki ERASLAN, Vice President of the Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language and History, Assoc. Prof.Ahmet KILINÇ, and Vice President of the Turkish Historical Society, Hüseyin Murat YÜCEL, stated that there is a close bond between the two institutions from the past to the present and that the protocol will be a guiding light in order to make the cooperation more efficient.

Prof. Dr. Necdet ÜNÜVAR, Rector of Ankara University, expressed his satisfaction with signing such a cooperation protocol between Ankara University and Atatürk Supreme Council and stated that we aim to serve language, history, and culture. Emphasizing that the two institutions have a deep-rooted history and were founded on similar foundations, ÜNÜVAR said, “If the two institutions work in harmony with each other, we will be doing a vital service for our country.”

Following the speeches, Prof. Dr. Yüksel ÖZGEN and Prof. Dr. Necdet ÜNÜVAR signed the cooperation protocol.
