Happy Turkish Language Day!

“With the encouragement and participation of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the First Turkish Language Congress was convened on September 26, 1932. It was decided that September 26, the opening day of the congress, would be celebrated as ‘Language Day.’

We extend our gratitude to everyone, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who contributed to our mother tongue, Turkish.

“The collaboration of world linguists with Turkish scholars will facilitate the resolution of many difficulties that linguistics has not been able to solve until now. From this, great truths will emerge as well.” Mustafa Kemal Atatürk
