The Sakarya Victory

On the 103rd anniversary of the Victory of Sakarya, we commemorate with mercy and gratitude our martyrs, especially Ghazi Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK and his comrades-in-arms, who presented this glorious victory to our nation.

“On September 13, 1921, no trace of the enemy army was left east of the Sakarya River. Thus, the Great Bloody Battle of Sakarya, which lasted for twenty-two days and nights without interruption from August 23 to September 13, including these days, was recorded in the history of the new Turkish State as an example of a great battle, which is rare in world history.” Mustafa Kemal Atatürk
