TBILISI VISIT

Prof. Dr. Muhammet Hekimoğlu, President of the Atatürk Supreme Council for Culture, Language and History, went to Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, for the 4th International Symposium on Turkish-Georgian Relations, organized by the Turkish Historical Society and Sokhumi State University. Hekimoğlu made a series of visits to the city after the symposium. Prof Dr. HEKİMOĞLU was accompanied by the Head of the Turkish Historical Society, Prof Dr. Birol ÇETİN, and the Head of Atatürk Research Center, Assoc. Dr. Yüksel ÖZGEN.

Visiting our Tbilisi Ambassador Fatma Ceren YAZGAN in her office, Prof. Dr. HEKİMOĞLU consulted about the projects and activities that could be carried out in the context of the historical and cultural relations between Türkiye and Georgia. After, Hekimoğlu paid a visit to the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency and received information about the ongoing projects carried out by the Agency in Georgia. Finally, he visited Yunus Emre Institute Tbilisi Turkish Culture Center.
